Why did an organ company develop a wireless MIDI system?

Classic Organ Works has been at the forefront of organ electronics since its inception in 1976. Best known for its pipe organ control systems, Classic Organ Works has long been a member of the MIDI Manufacturer's Association.

In the early stages of the development of a pipe organ tuning aid for its control system, the need for a wireless remote control was identified. A wide range of uses was identified for a wireless MIDI interface, so the decision was made to go ahead with development, and the rest is history!

Our first wireless device was launched in October 2004. Ever since, musicians and technicians everywhere have been using our products for additional freedom on stage or to replace long and awkward cables.
